A question about breasts? Will rate best answer..? Hey ladies.. This is probably a very frequently asked question. But here goes:
I have PCOS. My chances of falling pregnant aren't high, but there is still a chance. My Menstrual cycle isn't 100% regular, but more or less right.
Lately my breasts have been Extremely sore! It's almost unbearable. Even at night when I lay on my back (from them falling naturally to either side when a woman lays on her back) it also hurts. I can't lay on my side because if i lay or put pressure on them, it is extremely painful.
The other night in the bath, i noticed my aerolas are darker brown and more prominent than usual, and I have 2 blue veins running through either breast. My Montgomery glands are also a little bumpy and swollen. So are my breasts! They are harder than usual, but very tender and sensitive.
When people brush past me and accidentally touch my breast(s) i just want to die!
Any ideas on what this could be?
*Additional information:
* I have had unprotected intercourse frequently.
* My cycle is only supposed to start in about 5 days time
* I have had no period symptoms other than sore breasts (intensity level amplified by 10!)
Will rate best answer. Advice, thoughts & Opinions welcome. | Breasts are funny old things!! I have had five pregnancies ( all ended in miscarriage) and each time my breasts have done different things at different times and sometimes nohting at all, the same can be said for cycles in which I haven't been pregnant!
Pregnancy x 1 No breast symptoms
Pregnancy x 2 Breasts tender from a 10dpo, lots of blue veins.
Pregnancy x 3 Breast hurting bad like yours from 2dpo
Pregnancy x 4 Breasts tender from 2-7 dpo then stopped, tingling nipples.
Pregnancy x 5 Breasts not hurting until 14 dpo (after missed AF), really dark nipples and blue veins.
Each time the symptoms have been stronger at different times and sometimes disappeared and come back again. I have also had these symptoms when not pregnant, makes it really frustrating when trying to symptom spot! The symptoms you describe fit into what I felt in my 3rd pregnancy, it used to feel like someone had put rocks in my bbs when I sat up in the morning after being asleep! So the best thing to do is test chick, and if it is negative wait a few days and test again. Good Luck xx | Best breast pump to feed baby for 6 months? I m planning to feed my baby with breast milk for initial 6 months.
I work from home most of the time. I will not be able to effort or buy top rated breast pumps which are costs around $250 or more.
I would like to buy a breast pump for less than $100.
Need suggestions on which breast pump to buy (for less than $100) to feed baby for 6 months.
Electric or Manual? | For less than $100 you'll be lucky to find a manual pump. Any half decent electric pump is going to cost at least $200. And although you might be able to find them on sale on sites like craigslist going second hand, it is not sanitary or hygenic to reuse an already used breastpump UNLESS it is hospital grade (which will run you far more than the cost of a commercial electric pump, even second hand I would hazard to guess)
Your best bet, especially since you work from home, would be to nurse the baby directly. Especially if you can only afford a cheap pump. Even the best pumps aren't as efficient as getting the milk out as the nursing baby is, and as a result, you risk causing supply issues (or worse, your supply drying up entirely).
Alternately you can manually express milk (though this is still not as efficient as a baby, and may or may not be as efficient as a pump) - google "Manual expression of breast milk" and you should be able to find information regarding how to do this. | How can I learn which U.S. hospital has the best cure rate for breast cancer? 1#beyonce | Eptopic pregnancy or...? Will rate best answer? I have PCOS. My better half and I have been having frequent sex all month every 2 - 3 days apart. My cycles are 35 - 37 days. My period is now 2 weeks late, and I am experiencing very light bleeding. Not nearly enough to fill a sanitary towel up! It started off with spots of blood on the first day when I wiped, which was pink.
Then day 2 came and it got a bit darker, but on the sanitary towel it's such a tiny bit of blood that it would not even fill a panty liner half way. Day 3 came, and it completely went away. No blood when i wiped besides faint pink discharge which had the same consistency of egg white. Now it is day 4, and the light bleeding has started again but it's still such a tiny amount! My breasts are incredibly tender. They are so sore that I have to carefully turn over in bed so I do not hurt them. But that's about all besides light cramping in my uterus on day 2. Since I have PCOS, I am not sure what could be causing this, and I am not sure if whether or not it is any use to take a HPT? I have never experienced this before.
What could be causing it? Hormones? Eptopic pregnancy? Are there any other signs and symptoms that I should be aware of to point out an unhealthy cycle or dangerous early pregnancy? And lastly, is there anything I can take to possibly provoke menstruation if it is a light cycle? Anyone please respond if you have had similar experiences!!!!
I have heard that normal HPT's will not show up as positive with an eptopic pregnancy due to the lack of HGC in the mothers blood stream from the embryo not forming in the correct place. So how do i tell? And what should I do?
Please, no rude or obnoxious stupid answers. People who give useless comments will just receive a low rating from me.
Will rate best answer! | Just take a home pregnancy test.
Ectopic pregnancies come with severe cramps - and they continue to get worse until you either have surgical intervention to remove the ectopic pregnancy or your fallopian tube ruptures. It's an unbearable amount of pain. Since you don't mention any cramping, you can rule that out.
Some light bleeding can be pretty normal during early pregnancy. Or it could be a sign of a pending miscarriage. If the bleeding becomes heavy or is accompanied by very strong cramps (worse than a bad period), then head over to the hospital or give your doctor a call just to be sure.
But the most likely culprit is that you're just pregnant, or your cycle is upset due to some type of stress (physical, emotional, etc). At 2 weeks late you should be able to count on the results of a home pregnancy test. | Have anyone try Breast Gain Plus before? Here goes:
I have PCOS. Normally my cycle is pretty regular, being 4 or 5 days out at the most with a 28 - 35 day cycle. For the past few months it has been regular and normal.
Now i have missed about 2 weeks of my menses.. This has happened to me before, but only for a week and a bit. I reside in South Africa, so HPT's aren't so accurate depending on the brand.
Normally i would get cramps, get extremely bloated, and have bad pains before my mens. But it hasn't happened yet.... i had my last period which ended on the 19th of September.
I don't have any weird discharge. Only clear normal discharge. I did have what i 'thought' was very very faint pains indicating that time of the month, but nothing is happening. I did have a UTI about a week ago, but it is gone now too.
How i feel:
I feel normal i guess. Maybe just a little tired.
I have been urinating double as much as I normally do
My breasts feel normal, not tender or anything.
I did have slight cramps in my left ovary
I feel weak at times
Don't feel nauseous
And yes.. I did have intercourse.
Having PCOS can make it hard to fall preggers. But i would like to know what everyone opinion on the matter is?
How much longer should i wait till i take an HPT? Or is it even worth it? Have you experienced this before? if so, do share what happened.
Will rate best answer.
Thank you to those of you that post. | I don't have PCOS, but those could be pregnancy symptoms. I don't want to get your hopes up or anything, but contrary to what a lot of people thing, more frequent urination IS an early sign of pregnancy. And, if your discharge is clear, thin, and sticky like egg whites, that could also mean you're pregnant. That's the type of discharge women get during ovulation, and if they get it again around the time their period is supposed to come, it's sometimes indicates pregnancy.
Since you are late for your period, you should be able to go ahead and test. If the test is negative and you don't get your period soon, you should probably go to the doctor and find out if anything's wrong.
I hope this helped!
EDIT: Sorry, I meant to say if you discharge is clear, thin and slippery, not sticky. :) | Im a week late, and i need advice. I dont think im pregnant but.. Will rate best answer!!!? I would appreciate it if no sarcastic comments are posted to my question. I am a week late for my period, and the second day that i had missed my period, i had a small brownish spot on my underwear. I thought that would be my period, but it never came. Now it feels like im on my period, but im not. I have the same pain, as what i would have when im on my period. But theres no blood... Not a trace. I keep checking every day, but nothing appears.
2 days ago, i was quite wet down there, and have never had that before either. Its not from sexual arousal, and there was no doscomfort. I have googled some info, and it tells me that the brownish spot that i saw on my underwear is a sign of early pregnancy. But... can it be caused by stress too? I have been sexually active over the past 2 months, and its a bit too soon to take a test.
My breasts are a tiny bit tender aswell. And the other day i was using a household detergent that i always use, and experienced extreem sensitivity to it for some reason. I couldnt stop sneazing, andhad a runny nose until i went outside and away from the smell, then i was ok.
I really doubt that i am pregnant, as i have tried before, and nothing happened. I also feel constantly tired, and just want to sleep all the time. What could be causing this? Stress? What is your opinion? And has it happened to you before?
All guidance, opinions, and advice welcomed.
Will rate best answer... | Yes this could be pregnancy symptoms, but it also could be not. The brown spot could be implantation bleeding which is normal for women who are pregnant to experience in the first few weeks. When was your last BD? Was it during ovulation? You can easily check it by using the ovulation calendar. If you did have sex during ovulation which is rarely inaccurate if you have regular periods then you might just be pregnant. But don't get your hopes up, coz sometimes it adds (stressing too much on thinking of having a baby can definitely delay a period.) Since its only been a week, I would suggest that you wait another week till you test or go to your doctor. If you don't want to go to your OB, you can take a progesterone pill (but I'm just not sure if you can buy this over the counter, this was prescribed by my OB) What it does is make you bleed if you're not pregnant, but if you are its fine it wont harm the baby. Its just a hormone regulator. So if you don't bleed after taking it 3-5 days then congratulations your a mom. You can also buy a HPT, use the digital one these are more accurate and has less percentage of giving you a false negative. Make sure to use your first urine in the morning.
I know how stressful this could be, been there :) But if you are pregnant, its worth the wait. Keep your head up girl :)
