What are some helpful tips for a teenage boy model? This model agency has called me in for an interview this saturday, and I am in need of some good advice on what I should do to make the best inpression at the model ageny, It would help greatly if you could help me. |
| First of all, BE YOURSELF. Don't go doing anythings too drastic to get yourself groomed for the interview. But do wear something fashion forward and sensible not to flashy (if you get what I mean). Good luck! |
What about teenage boy's role models? So you hear alot about Jamie-Lynn spears, and Hannah Montanna/Miley Cyrus and if they are good teenage girl role models etc. And the others, but this is my question, what about role models for teenage boys? Why don't we have any for them? |
| We have so few role models for guys because there are so few good upstanding men to be an example for young men. There are still men with good morals, who treat women with respect and seek to protect and provide for their families. If you find one encourage him and tell him what an inspiration his lifestyle and decisions are. |
Names of teenage models or sites? Okay so I'm writing a book, yes I know, and I need pictures for the characters. I have absolutely no idea where to look for pictures. I've already checked flikr and photobucket. And tried google but I wasn't sure what to look up. If anyone knows any names of teenage models, boy and girl, or sites that have pictures. That would be really great. Thank you. |

What are some examples of realistic teenage boy characters from literature? This is a demographic I always have difficulty writing without cliches or just simple unbelievability. I'm looking for some good literary models of realistic teenage boy characters-- and teenage characters in general-- so that I can watch and learn. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thank you. |
Tom Brown from Tom Brown's School Days set in the 1800's at the tough and sometimes brutal Rugby School in England.
For more contemporary characters try Dangerous Days and Blades both by J. William Turner. Fictional autobiographies about teens in several life and death situations from 1981-2001 |
What are some role models for teenage boys? I mean realistically, not who you'd like your teenage son to look up to. Guys, who do you look up to in the media? What shows/songs/movies is this person in? Why do you look up to him? |
well...i'm a 'teenage boy' and i've got a few inspirations, mainly musically.
Marilyn manson :
“When you're taught to love everyone, to love your enemies, then what value does that place on love?”
“We live in a society of victimization, where people are much more comfortable being victimized than actually standing up for themselves.”
“I fear being like everyone I hate, I fear failure, I fear losing control. I love balancing between chaos and control with everything I do. I always have a fear of going one way or another, getting lost in something, or losing everything to get lost in. And I fear being a completely acceptable sheep in society.”
“The burden of originality is one that most people don't want to accept. They'd rather sit in front of the TV and let that tell them what they're supposed to like, what they're supposed to buy, and what they're supposed to laugh at.”
Les Claypool : bassist for the band Primus and one of the very few musical artists who don't accept massive record deals and comprimise's their music just to make money.
Jonathan Davis : Korn's vocalist, if it wasn't for korn and marilyn manson's music and their lyrics I might not still be alive.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=P27cnBizD… - marilyn manson interview about colombine in which he was blamed for.
Michael Moore : "if you were to talk directly to the guys at colombine and their community what would you say to them?"
Marilyn Manson : "I wouldn't say a single word to them, I would listen to what they have to say...and thats what no-one did."
edit: @miguel, a few years ago i just thought he was a bad person etc (basically what the media tells you to think). after watching a load of interviews and listening to his music, the man is a true artist...and that's rare nowadays. |
Do most teenage boys actually expect girls to look like models in bikinis? like what are they actually thinking when they see a normal sized girl with normal proportions |
| depends if she's a ***** than i don't like her even if she is hot but a normal person who is nice and i can talk to is much better than someone who's hot and is a ***** |
Can someone please find me a picture of a preppy teenage boy wearing BLUE SHORTS? like a picture for an advertisement or a runway model or something. okay thank you. |

Why are male models so much more attractive and healthy looking compared to female models? I'm a bisexual guy and I would choose a male model over a female model in a heartbeat. There's absolutely no comparison. Female models look more like teenage boys than what the young male models do! What's up with that? At least the guys in the fashion industry look healthy.
Why are male models so underrated? Most of the time they're million times more attractive than the women. |
| I think guys look more manly than girls look girly. and guys look more natural and in their element and girls sometimes just look confused |
What do you do with a teenage boy who has an attitude? He acts so much like his dad. Doesn't care what people think. Has a bad attitude. And I asked him the other day if he had a role model and he said no. And there are so many great influences in his life I could not believe his answer. His dad is not a great roll model. He does not pay guy support and he and his second wife are on their third baby together when she has four prior to the marriage. All from different dads i will add. But I have a home based business, my new husband loves sports goes to professional games (invites my son who declines) makes great money at a job he has been with for over five years. I am close to my brother who owns his own business which is building homes. And we live in a upper class community. All is positive. But he is such a negitve teenager. And I don't know what to do. He works part time at the local grocery store and I thought that would help. But it seems to be worse. Help! |
| It sounds like you are expecting way to much out of this guy. You are thinking he will turn out like his father. My brother was similar. Didn't respect people, didn't want to graduate. All he wanted to do was go to work and play in his band. We all thought he was going no where. He separated himself from our family and clung to his friends and his girlfriend. We tried to get him to do things with us (holidays, birthdays...) and tried to get him to hang out with my mothers boyfriend (my rents are divorced) to give him a little male bonding and to let him see how a man should act (our real dad is a putz and wont way guy support either!). All this did nothing, because he ended up committing suicide. After he died we found poems and lyrics talking about how he could never please anyone and how who he was wasn't good enough for us, and how he was sorry he disapionted us. He felt like he was becomming his father. Karel was 19. DO NOT push your guy in YOUR direction. Just let him find himself. And if you don't like who he is, there is nothing you can do about it. Kids are goofy and don't know what they want. If he is a bright guy he will look at all the positive things in his life and learn from them, but maybe not show it. Just let him know that you are there, and never make him feel like he is not appreciated. |
